Hometown: Born in Taguig City, Philippines, and moved to Tokyo, Japan.
Education: Associate's degree at KCC, Yumi intends to return to school to finish Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
Industry Experience: Working with her parents, running a family business as a Venue Rental /Event Planning & Decoration Company. After about two years, she ventured out to work for a short-term rental company as a maintenance coordinator. She became a manager but decided to return to her ultimate goal: working in accounting. This led her to her current role at HiAccounting
Fun Fact: An interesting fact about her is that she moved away from her parents' house to step away from the family business, but ended up opening a small side business of her own. Her dad had a huge impact on her and inspired her entrepreneurial spirit. Another thing she loves is going on journeys with her partner, family, or friends to cafes, trying every possible matcha around the island.
