Education: California State University of Sacramento, B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and an A.S. in Social & Behavioral Science with a minor in Communication from Sierra College.
Experience: After completing her first degree, Marina went back to Sierra College with a new passion for a second degree, where she found a love for accounting. Marina is on her last year at Sac State for her bachelors. During Marina’s time pursuing her accounting degree she worked for State Street Bank & Trust as a Junior Fund Accountant for 2 years. There, she realized that finance wasn’t her passion and got a job with AP Group Inc. where she obtained experience in auditing and tax. Marina plans on getting her CPA once she graduates and she wants to know both auditing and tax so that she can provide clients with the best of both worlds.
Fun Fact: Marina is obsessed with strawberries, she likes to travel and also attends conventions while cosplaying.
